Proceedings der 11. Internationalen Tagung Wirtschaftsinformatik (WI2013) - Band 1

The two volumes represent the proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Wirtschaftsinformatik WI2013 (Business Information Systems). They include 118 papers from ten research tracks, a general track and the Student Consortium. The selection of all submissions was subject to a double blind procedure with three reviews for each paper and an overall acceptance rate of 25 percent. The WI2013 was organized at the University of Leipzig between February 27th and March 1st, 2013 and followed the main themes Innovation, Integration and Individualization.:Track 1: Individualization and Consumerization Track 2: Integrated Systems in Manufacturing Industries Track 3: Integrated Systems in Service Industries Track 4: Innovations and Business Models Track 5: Information and Knowledge ManagementDie zweibändigen Tagungsbände zur 11. Go with the Flow - Design of Cloud Logistics Service Blueprints

By adopting principles of cloud computing to the \ logistics domain the paradigm of Cloud Logistics is derived. It \ appears to be a promising paradigm in order to evolve logistics \ into being more flexible and collaborative. Yet, appropriate \ concepts that enable the cloud logistics paradigm are missing. \ In the paper, existing body of literature is reviewed and a \ definition and a framework of cloud logistics is given. Further, \ service blueprinting is combined with domain engineering and \ general morphological analysis in order to create a suitable \ method for designing cloud oriented service blueprints. Those \ are focusing on domain-specific flows and transformations \ enabling cloud oriented business collaboration. The method \ is applied to the logistics domain and a cloud logistics service \ blueprint is designed. Finally, the concept is evaluated with \ real use cases from logistics service providers

Customers as service innovators within business networks

Today there is still a gap between the theory of customer-driven business models and their implementation in practice. Furthermore the question emerges how companies could profit from a more sophisticated interaction with their customers. We want to introduce a concept of a technological platform which empowers the customer to co-create value with one or more companies by combining services. The main issue in this scenario is the changing of the business model from company-centric to customer-centric, i.e. the customer is the main driver for composing services and also the main driver for value creation. The company still has to deliver the value proposition to the customer who matches it with his own needs and then chooses a specific service from a portfolio of services. For this we analyze similar concepts and platforms found in literature and compare them to our approach. We finally conclude with an outlook on how can this concept be realized in practice

A cloud-based Analytics-Platform for user-centric Internet of Things domains – Prototype and Performance Evaluation

Data analytics have the potential to increase the value of data emitted from smart devices in user-centric Internet of Things environments, such as smart home, drastically. In order to allow businesses and end-consumers alike to tap into this potential, appropriate analytics architectures must be present. Current solutions in this field do not tackle all of the diverse challenges and requirements, which were identified in previous research. Specifically, personalized, extensible analytics solutions, which still offer the means to address big data problems are scarce. In this paper, we therefore present an architectural solution, which was specifically designed to address the named challenges. Furthermore, we offer insights into the prototypical implementation of the proposed concept as well as an evaluation of its performance against traditional big data architectures

Service-System-Architekturen zur Gestaltung von Logistikdienstleistungsnetzwerken

Dienstleistungsnetzwerke werden als Service-Systeme, in denen Menschen und Maschinen gemeinsam Wert generieren, betrachtet. Eine spezifische Form von Dienstleistungsnetzwerken stellen Fourth Party Logistics (4PL)-Netzwerke dar. Diese bilden sich aus mehreren heterogenen Sub-Dienstleistern, die für eine Vielzahl von Kunden zumeist individuelle logistische Dienst-leistungen erbringen. Die modulare Gestaltung der Dienstleistungen ist ein Lösungsansatz für eine effiziente Leistungserbringung aus Sicht der Anbieter und Herausforderung zugleich. Dieser Beitrag erarbeitet Anforderungen an eine strukturierte Gestaltung von modularen Dienst-leistungsnetzwerken im Sinne einer Service-System-Architektur. Zudem wird ein Ansatz für eine 4PL-Service-System-Architektur vorgestellt

Modellgetriebene ad-hoc Integration von Logistikdienstleistern – Integrationsansatz und Prototyp

Der Logistikdienstleistungssektor ist durch arbeitsteilige sowie kurz-, mittel- und langfristige Zusammenarbeit gekennzeichnet. Insbesondere Fourth Party Logistics (4PL) stehen permanent vor der Aufgabe unterschiedliche Logistikdienstleister und damit auch deren Informationssysteme ad-hoc und medienbruchfrei in unternehmensübergreifende Informationsflüsse zu integrieren. Dieser Beitrag stellt verschiedene logistikspezifische Integrationsvarianten, einen modellgetriebenen Integrationsansatz sowie ein Lösungs-konzept auf Basis der Logistik Service Engineering & Management (LSEM)-Plattform vor. Das zum neunten Male durchgeführte interuniversitäre Doktorandenseminar der Universitäten Halle-Wittenberg, Jena und Leipzig repräsentiert eine Kooperation mehrerer Wirtschaftsinformatik-Professoren.
